I'd just finished shooting the hundreds of still images need to make my Llandudno Sunset Timelapse #12 video, and although the sun had now set there was still plenty of beautiful light around to enjoy.
In fact, in many ways I find the quality of light in the half hour or so after sunset to be even more appealing than when the sun is still over the horizon.
Especially when there's swirling high altitude cirrus clouds overhead, still lit by gorgeous warm light for a few minutes while the already set sun dips further below the horizon.
Add in a crescent moon and you have a recipe for a few seconds of lovely, gentle timelapse video as the light slowly fades from the heavens above.
