One of the most beautiful places in Wales, maybe the UK and possibly the world to watch a sunset from is the west coast of the Isle of Anglesey.
And of all the rocky coves and beaches to choose from, surely Church Bay must be the jewel in the crown.
With golden coloured cliffs backing a pristine beach strewn with interesting rocks, boulders, tidal pools and patterns in the sand it's hard to know where to set up a camera to record the best view.
The only snag in coming here to photograph is the weather, when nine times out of ten any sun that might be showing itself is consumed in a bank of cloud over the Irish Sea long before reaching the horizon.
So I was really blessed on this occasion to have a clear sky right to the horizon, coupled with an incoming tide that slowly crept towards me as I shot the 1200 or so still images required to make this time lapse video.
One of those rare occasions when everything comes together and you're there with all the kit you need to record what's happening in front of your eyes.
