A lovely spring day spend exploring the beauties of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales found my wife Liz and I in the coastal town of Caernarfon in mid afternoon.
The earlier weather front bearing cloud, rain and snow had blown over, leaving a patchwork of cumulus clouds and blue sky streaming by overhead.
Ideal conditions for a time lapse video, so while Liz stayed in the car knitting her latest creation, I ventured out with my standard time lapse kit of camera, tripod, intervalometer and filters for an hour's worth of shooting stills.
In the end, I decided to split the shooting session into two halves, featuring the magnificent Caernarfon Castle from two different angles with those clouds racing by over the battlements as patches of sunlight and shadow painted the landscape below.
