Around midsummer 2015 my wife Liz and I spent a few days 'glamping' in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and really crammed in a lot of sightseeing during those few days in an unfamiliar location.
Having done our homework before setting off, we knew that one of our days would be dedicated to exploring the wonderful Waterfall Country, with streams, woodlands and, of course, waterfalls to enjoy.
Naturally, I took plenty of photos while we were going along, some of which you can enjoy over in the Wales Inland Gallery here on goHOWiE.com.
But as well as still photos, I also spent time videoing the waterfalls as I wanted a record not just of how they looked, but how they sounded as well.
So after our day's visit to the waterfalls I ended up with around a dozen video clips, each just about a minute long, which I've really enjoyed watching as they convey a real feel of the beauty of the moving water.
But apart from enjoying them myself, I was at a loss to decide how to share the pleasure until I thought about producing this short 'edited highlights' compilation video, including just a short section from the more impressive clips.
Adding a suitably atmospheric backing track, composed and played by my son Andy, just finished the compilation off nicely, with the sound of running water combining with the guitar to really bring out the mood of peace and harmony that being in such a wonderful place engenders.
