My wife Liz and I were enjoying a rather soggy drive through the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, heading towards the coast by the scenic route over the Sportsmans Pass from Denbigh to Pentrefoelas and on to Betws-y-Coed.
As we approached Betws-y-Coed we pulled into one of our favourite viewpoints overlooking the Gwydir Forest and Moel Siabod, to admire the view as mist swirled below us through the trees and valleys.
It was the work of a moment to get my camera set up and clicking away for quarter of an hour, capturing the hundreds of still images needed to create this time lapse video.
I'd just finished and was packing away when the heavens opened and down came the rain.
Time to move on and hope for better weather at the coast!
