A week's holiday in the west of Ireland found my wife Liz and I re-visiting some of our favourite places along the Wild Atlantic Way coastal drive.
One such spot was the charming seaside town of Ballybunion in County Kerry, boasting a gorgeous beach, towering cliffs and to top it all off, a ruined castle perched on a rocky promontory overlooking the ocean.
We got there late in the afternoon, and after a walk around followed by a great Indian takeaway we settled in above the beach to shoot the two and a bit hours' worth of still images required to make this time lapse video of the sun setting over the Atlantic ocean followed by twilight with the castle ruins increasingly lit by artificial lights.
It was almost dark when I finally packed everything away, ready for the long drive back to ur holiday cottage in County Clare, well happy after such a lovely evening.
