Just across the bay from Youghal, on the southwest Atlantic coast of County Cork, Ireland, lies the wonderfully named Knockadoon Point and Capel Island.
So naturally enough my wife Liz and I decided to take a trip out to the tip of Knockadoon during our week long stay at Youghal.
What we found was a small stretch of wave battered coast, boasting some lovely colourful rock formations lining the shoreline.
With the sun shining brightly, turning the shallow waters of the bay a beautiful turquoise agains tthe red and gold of the rocks, it was too good a colour palette to miss.
