A hidden gem on the coast of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, this is the secluded bay at Ynys Y Fyldyn.
Accessible only by foot along the Anglesey coastal path or by boat, there are rarely more than a couple of people enjoying this remote spot at any one time.
The geology of this stretch of coast is fascinating and visually stunning, with cliffs, caves, sea arches and a shoreline composed of a large variety of different coloured rocks to delight the eyes.
To capture this image I lurched and stumbled over rocks and through pools to get to the water's edge at low tide, giving me this view of the cliffs with gentle waves breaking on those lovely rocks in the foreground.
