How evocative of a sense of freedom and adventure is the image of a yacht, silhouetted against the setting sun.
The actual location for this shot, however, is the safely walled in Marine lake at West Kirby on the Wirral.
This therefore, is an example of how important it is to leave stuff out of a composition, as if I'd zoomed out just a little bit then all sorts of seaside infrastructure would have become visible, and the meaning of the image would have been lost.
