This was one of those rare, treasured mornings when the horizon was actaully clear at sunrise, and I was in the right place at the right time to capture the beauty of the rising sun out over Colwyn Bay.
Over the past few years a vast wind farm has grown up in the bay, with opinion being divided as to its effectiveness and aethsetics.
As an outdoor photographer I like anything that adds to an image, and these turbine certainly do that.
Without them this would be a relatively boring photo of another sunrise, but include the turbines and the composition becomes much more engaging and rich in metaphor.
Love 'em or hate 'em, they're here to stay so we might as well make the most of what's been provided.
