While staying at Lake Garda in northern Italy my wife Liz and I decided on a day out exploring the high Tyrol mountains to the west of the lake.
Following a great drive up winding mountain roads with magnificent scenery we arrived near the summit of Tremalzo where the road ended.
So we spent a happy hour in the cool, rarified air just soaking in the beautiful scenery, with high peaks all around us and the sun beating down.
This panoramic collage gives an idea of the magificent views we enjoyed during our mountaintop experience.
