To the west of the Clwydian range of peaks in North Wales lies the fertile Vale of Clwyd.
This flat plain is largly given over to agriculture, and with the Clwydians in the background there are some lovely rural views to be seen.
I photographed this pastoral scene in the late afternoon sun just outside the village of Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd (or Llanbedr DC as it's known locally).
It took me a few shots before I had the cows roughly where I wanted them, but they did co-operate eventually.
