Spring - what a fantastic time of year.
Fresh new life springing up everywhere, birdies tweeting, lambs frolicking, grass growing and, of course, spring blossom bursting forth all around us.
While I find blossom lovely to look at, I also find it very difficult to photograpgh in a way that conveys at least a hint of the joy that I'm feeling at this time of the year.
Motion blur to the rescue! By turning what would have been a nice but uninspiring scene into an abstact swirl of colours and shapes I think this image of a blossom laden tree is much more evocative than the 'straight' shot could ever have been.
