Every year my wife Liz and I plan a week long winter sun break to cheer ourselves up during the cold and damp North Wales January.
This year (2020), after a five year absence, we made a return trip to Tenerife in the Canary Islands, stating in a resort at Costa Adeje on the heavily developed south coast.
Although I'm not a great fan of holiday resorts, the view out of our bedroom window, just after sunrise and before the sunbeds filled up, was rather nice, with sunlit apartments reflecting in the still blue waters of the pool below.

Filters - Polarising filter used to enhance colours. 2 stop neutral density graduated filter used to reduce the brightness of the sunlit buildings.

Image enhancements - Adobe Lightroom
Comments - Image underexposed slightly to preserve highlights.
