Everywhere you look on Tenerife you see evidence of volcanic activity, and none more so than at the coast, where the relentless Atlantic Ocean pounds the lava into beautifully sculpted boulders of alluring blacks and greys.
This particular piece of coast lies close to Los Abrigos to the south of the island, in amongst the hotels, bars and restaurants of the tourist strip.
A small oasis of natural beauty, left alone from the time the island was formed.
