A stunning spring evening in late May on the North Wales coast found me on the huge beach at Talacre, camera on tripod taking hundreds of still images as the sun set over the Point of Ayr lighthouse in order to create my Talacre Sunset Timelapse #3 video.
The sky was a blaze of colour, which only became more intense after the sun had sunk below the western horizon and wonderful patterns of light cloud passed overhead.
But what really put the icing on the cake this particular evening were the near perfect reflections of that glorious sky and lighthouse in the mirror-like surface of a huge tidal pool left behind by the ebbing tide.
Conditions like this don't come around every day here in North Wales, and I'm so blessed to be able to jump in my car and get to the coast at times such as these.
I selected this single frame from towards the end of the shoot that evening, around 9.25pm, with the sun now well below the horizon and a sheet of high stratocumulus clouds just catching the last of the intense red twilight.
Too many to list here, visit my Talacre, North Wales Video Gallery to check them out.
