Who could resist photographing such a stunning sunset - I certainly couldn't!
Standing on the banks of the Menai Straits at Caernarfon waiting for the castle lights to come on at dusk, Liz and I were granted this fantastic view of the sunset over Anglesey.
With the sun kissing the horizon and the clouds overhead picking up some beautiful underlighting we just couldn't have wished for a better start to the evening.
When I processed this image in ACR and Photoshop I converted the RAW file using a flourescent white balance to bring the colours in line with how I wanted to express this particular scene, emphasising the magentas hues that were my prevailing memory of the colour that evening.
