The story behind this image

I really like this image, as to me it presents a powerful visual metaphor.

Taken at dawn in the middle of summer (5.00am) from the beach at Llandudno, North Wales, this image, to me, respresents the new dawn brought about by the growing importance of renewable energy on the North Wales coast.

These three turbines are part of one of the largest offshore windfarms in Europe, and opinion about them is mixed!

For me as a grandad, I appreciate what they respresent and what is trying to be acheived thorugh their use, and for me as a photographer and artist I love the graphic element they can bring to the landscape or seascape.

Without them this would be a pleasant sunrise scene, but including them in the image brings it to life.
