Quite a spooky photo of an early morning sun, trying its best to break through a heavy layer of fog that enveloped the slopes of Moel Famau during one of my early morning treks.
Living where I do in North Wales, you tend to take fog and cloud as normal, and adjust your photographic eye to see images that don't rely on gorgeous sunlight to work.
Such was the case here, in this somewhat minimalist composition that somehow conveys an air of mystery and anticipation.
