The lifeboat at Moelfre boasts a fine history of lives saved along this treacherous piece of Anglesey's coast, rightly commemorated by this statue in memory of Dick Evans, one of the most famous lifeboatmen of the area.
The stretch of coastal path from Moelfre is an absolute delight, but I wouldn't want to be on the sea here in rough weather, lifeboat or not!
