I know, I know!
There must be a gazillion sunset photos floating round the internet, so why go to the bother of even getting the camera out of the bag to photograph another?
But for me, sunset is a magical time, that instant on the cusp between day and night that just reminds me of God's grace and wisdom in how He makes our solar system work like clockwork.
Add to that the fact that, living in North Wales, I've got access to some amazing west facing coastal locations to view sunsets from so perhaps I can be excused for continuing to capture them on silicon.
This particular sunset occured in the spring of 2017, while my wife Liz and I were parked up at one of our favourite viewing spots at South Stack on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.
Looking out over the Irish Sea, with the iconic lighthouse perched on a rock in the foreground and the clouds overhead just starting to light up with the colours of twilight was just a magical experience.
So I set my camera up on its tripod just a few paces from our parked car and set it off recording the hundreds of still frames required to make a time lapse video of the sunset and changing light.
You can watch the time lapse video here, and this is just one image culled from the hundreds taken, with the sun just on the cusp of setting at the end of another day.
