Liz and I spent a few days in the autumn of 2016 at Solva, on the Pembrokeshire coast.
This tiny little community is centred around the tidal harbour, and we enjoyed a couple of lovely walks on the sand at low tide, out beyond the headland.
But we were quite puzzled by these strange, abandoned beehive like structures that had been built right on the shoreline, a little way for the mouth of the estuary.
It was the owner of our holiday apartment that explained what they were - old lime kilns from the town's industrial past.
But industry has long since vanished from this lovely spot, leaving the harbour to the locals' yachts and the occasional tourist like us.
