This photo shows a part of the theatre on board the P&O liner Arcadia.
I don't know who designed it, but whoever it was did a fine job, with sweeping curves and a colour palette to delight the eye.
I went in when it was empty in between perfomances, and holding my camera up to my eye I swept around the whole area looking for the strongest posssible composition which to photograph.
After a few warm up shots I settled on this view showing the roof detail and part of the upper balcony,
The arrangement of the curves in balcony and roof wes very pleasing, and the single strong magenta colour of the ceiling lights really added a strong focal point to the composition.
