Warm sea breezes, a gentle stroll along the promenade deck and a beautiful sunset on a clear horizon.
No wonder Liz and I enjoy going on a cruise so much, you get to see so much with so little apparent effort.
This photo was taken from the P&O liner Arcadia, steaming westwards through the Mediterranean sea, and What attracted me to this particular scene was the dying rays of the setting sun reflecting off the slung lifeboat over our heads.
The colour of the light was just golden. No wonder this is called the photographer's happy hour.
