Dotted at strategic intervals along the promenade on Llandudno's East Shore are these old fashioned storm shelters.
Whoever came up with the concept knew what they were about, as the weather on this part of the North wales coast can change in the blink of an eye.
This is what was happening on the day I took this photo.
Liz and I were enjoying a stroll along the prom in the sunshine, while just out to sea the storm clouds and rain were rapidly approaching.
It wasn't too long after taking this photo that we were in need of one of those shelters ourselves!
