My wife Liz and I had spend a fantastic day revisiting some of our favourite places along the North Wales coast
At the end of the day we decided to stop at Conway for a takeaway coffee, which we drank as we walked over the bridge leading to the castle.
The castle looked pretty good lit up against the twilight sky, but it was the view up the estuary, shown here, that really hit the spot.
We stood together on the bridge and watched the sky change colour. The water was really still for a change, with the cloud patterns reflecting beautifully. To me it looked like one of those strange inkblot images, and I was glad I'd brought my camera and tripod with me.
