Bwa Gwyn (White Arch) is just one of many fascinating features to be explored and enjoyed on Anglesey's coastline.
Bwa Gwyn is to be found just to the north of Rhoscolyn on Holy Island, but the problem is, to get photos like this you have to be able to climb down quite a steep cliff and clamber over some slick rocks right to the point where the waves are crashing over your feet.
This photo was taken in April 2009, and this was the last time I visited Bwa Gwyn as later that year I tore my left knee up quite badly in a silly accident involving a stream, a branch and my LowePro.
After two years and a lot of physio my knee is back to almost fully fit and I'm looking forward to re-visiting some of the places I've not been able to get to, such as Bwa Gwyn.
It just goes to show that you can't take continuing fitness for granted, so make the most of what you have while you have it. Get out, climb, explore, take photos that you can look back on with pleasure and fond memories in the years to come.
I'm looking forward to this coming spring, and being able to do again what I once took for granted, with a hightend sense of gratitude that my body works well enough to allow me to climb once again.
