Water is wonderful stuff, not only can you drink it, swim in it and squirt it, but it also makes for great photography.
Everywhere I go I'll seek out water to include in a photo if I can, but in Arizona water is in short supply, especially in the dry desert area around Sedona where Liz and I were vacationing.
The only running water for miles around was Oak Creek, pictured here, catching the reflections of the tree lined riverbank and dramatic sandstone bluff beyond highlighted in the evening sun.
As we watched the light show, cooled our tired feet in the creek and photographed the scenery at this stunning location, the words of Psalm 23 came to mind - 'He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul'.
