Strolling along the beach at Conwy Morfa by the side of the Conwy estuary is a favourite pastime for my wife Liz and myself.
With the late afternoon sun grazing the beach, every little bump and ripple was picked out in highlight and shadow, and I spent a happy few minutes framing up possible abstract compositions through the viewfinder of my trusty old Canon 5D.
In the end it was this image that pleased me most, with the curvaceous sand ripples on a slight diagonal across the frame.
Well worth looking downwards for a while.
