It's funny how the roofs in hot, Mediterranean countries all seem to be clad in these red pottery interlocking tiles.
Not that I'm complaining, as they make for great abstract photographic subjects, especially when set against a clear blue sky in a sort of minimilist manner.
These particular roof tiles were to be found in the town of Cuitadella on the Balleric Island of Menorca in the Mediterranean sea, and photographed using Fuji Velvia transparency film and a polarising filter - a combination guaranteed to make those colours pop!
