One of the crowning achievements of Liz's and my holiday in the Rocky Mountains was our short hike up Huffers Hill to the dizzying altitude of 12,005 feet above sea level.
We made this climb from the Alpine Visitor Centre (only 250 feet below) during the second week of our holiday, once we'd gotten used to the thin air, but we were still mighty pleased with ourselves!
After enjoying a picnic on the summit, and having shot half and hour's worth of still images for my Rocky Mountain Time Lapse #4 video, I decided to shoot a 360 degree panorama of the scene before heading back down to the cafe for a coffee.
Well, after all, I wasn't going to climb back up again so best to make the most of this one time visit.
