Rock on!
The Glyderau mountains in Snowdonia National Park contain some of the weirdest rock formations you're ever likely to see in the UK.
It looks like the aftermath of an explosion in a giants' Lego factory, with huge lumps of stone scattered around or sticking up at improbable angles.
My son Andy and I took an excursion up there one sunny afternoon, climbing up through the Devil's Kitchen and along the ridge between the peaks of Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach until we came to the absurd (and very well loved) cantilever rock, where we stopped for a few photo opportunities before turning around and heading back to the car a thousand metres below.
