There's been some quite impressive regeneration efforts along the North Wales coast in recent years, and none more so than at Rhyl harbour.
With the promenade given a good facelift, Rhyl harbour is now quite the tourist attraction, with centre stage being given to the very impressive Pont y Ddraig (Bridge of the Dragon) footbridge over th tidal estuary of the river Clwyd as it empties into the Irish Sea.
My wife Liz and I enjoyed a couple of hours wandering about here on a day of mixed weather during a brief respite from Covid lockdown in December 2020, and with beautiful winter sunlight hitting the bridge, while dark clouds looming behind, I'm glad I had my trusty Canon camera with me to record the dramatic lighting on the Pont y Ddraig.
