When it comes to quaint seaside resorts the North Wales coast is hard to beat, especially as you move further west away from the commercialised areas of Prestatyn and Rhyl.
Rhos-on-Sea is one such olde worlde resort, which hasn't changed much over the past fifty odd years.
And I should know, as I came here on church choir holidays back when I was a nipper, and it still looks and feels the same now.
So my wife Liz and I often stop here for a stroll along the promenade and an ice cream from Ninos cafe, taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the North Wales coast.
One of my favourite spots is the small harbour, protected by a stone breakwater and home to a few small boats and yachts, giving views back around Colwyn Bay to the east.
So late on a summer's evening during one of our trips here I treated myself to this panoramic collage, with the setting sun just still kissing the breakwater and turning the stones golden, before finally setting to the northwest.
A gentle view of a gentle and relaxed place.
