With enough stamina and determination, it's possible to walk around the whole of the Isle of Anglesey on the beautiful coastal path.
I've never done the whole thing (maybe one day), but my wife Liz and I certainly enjoy exploring parts of its 125 mile length.
One stunning part of the coastal path takes in Red Wharf Bay on the eastern side of the island, which is partly pictured here at high tide.
Of course, from a photographic point of view, an image of a flat expanse of beach can be quite dull, but, as with most of the North Wales coast, there's plenty of old, decaying beach architecture to include in a composition as a focal point.
