When you take the highly changeable welsh weather into account, then you're never short of photographic opportunities.
Such as this wonderful rainbow, framing the bare, sunlit branches of a large old oak tree.
Photographed from my back yard, it was a scramble to get my camera set up and polarising lens fitted before this fleeting phenomena faded away.
I only managed to get a few frames before the show ended, with this one being the best of the bunch, both in terms of composition and lighting.
The motto is - always have a camera with you, ready to go at a moment's notice!
