This is the beautiful cove of Porth Dafarch, on the Isle of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast.
With its southwest facing apsect, Porth Dafarch is a wonderful spot to watch a winter's sunset from the warmth of your car, parked conveniently right by the beach.
No such luxury for me though, as I was perched up on the side of the headland to get just the right angle needed to shoot the hundreds of stills required to make my Porth Dafarch Time Lapse #1 video.
Once I'd finished shooting the time lapse, and while there was still some twilight in the sky, I re-adjusted my camera's settings to give me a long 30 second exposure, blurring both the waves and clouds while leaving the rocky foreshore sharply defined.
An absolutely lovely scene, but a bit chilly in the January breeze!
