Walking back through downtown Pisa, having visited the famous Leaning Tower and now heading back to the station to catch the Florence train, I spotted this typical street scene.
Everything was just right for this image. The colour of the wall, the position of the bicycle relative to the posters and the general seediness and decay made for a lovely atmospheric shot of a typical Tuscan street.
Much more interesting to look at and photograph than the manicured and painted tourist areas.
