This is the sort of holiday beach photo that usually doesn't make it into a brochure or onto Facebook!
Strolling along the beach at Llandudno, North Wales, on a grey, overcast day, Liz and I came across this outflow pipe.
Stymied for dramatic lighting to show off the grand landscape, I was grateful for this nicely corroded and barnacle encrusted pipe to take a photo of in what were ideal conditions for a close up showing colour and detail.
As they say, one man's meat is another man's poison. And speaking of which, I don't know what was coming out of that pipe, but we didn't get too close!
