Do you pack up your camera when the sun goes down? Shame if you do, as there are some magical sights to be seen and photographed once darkness falls.
Such was the case on this moonlit night at Llandudno on the North Wales coast. The moon was reflecting off a calm sea with the famous pier sillhouetted against the dappled water.
I started off by photographing the whole pier, but some patches of water were so dark that I couldn't make out the pier against them, so instead I zoomed into this one part of the structure that sat squarely in a patch of reflected moonlight.
I particularly like the pattern made by the old girders and their reflections against the backdrop of light. What a beautiful night!
