A beautiful summer's day in late July and where else would you want to be except at the seaside.
And what a seaside Penmon Point on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey is!
With its stunning lighthouse just offshore, Puffin Island in the background and a rock bounded sweeping shingle beach, Penmon Point is a treat for all the senses.
Which poses a problem photographically speaking, as in how on earth do you convey not only the visual loveliness of the place, but also the sense of peace and well being that the sound of the sea kissing the shingle, the cry of the seabirds and the smell of fresh sea air, tinged with a hint of drying seaweed, brings to the soul.
Well I try my best!
And on this occasion, on a bright summer's day, I decided the best way to show this beauties of Penmon Point was in the form of a panoramic collage, taking in all the individual elements that work together to provide this visual feast, with the iconic lighthouse acting as a focal point.
Not a bad effort, but there's no substitute for actually being there!
