Fortunately for me my wife Liz likes gardening, a pastime that leaves me cold except for admiring and photographing the end results!
So in spring and summer I'm often found wandering around the flowerbeds, camera in hand, seeing what's in bloom today.
Although not a bloom as such, the play of evening sunlight through these delicately patterned and interlaced palm fronds was just lovely to look at.
