This is O'Brien's Bridge in County Clare, Ireland, photographed on one of the few instances when the sun actually shone during our summer holiday of 2013.
Well we knew what to expect weatherwise, having been in this part of the wrold on numerous occasions in the past!
Mind you, when it's not raining here the cloud formations can be absolutely spectacular, as evidenced by this massive bank of cumulus rearing ominously over the bridge.
The dramatic cloud makes for an interesting conflict in the composition of this image, as the viewers' eye does'nt quite know what to focus on, the cloud or the bridge.
