During our week long stay in Norfolk, my family and I spent a day riding on the restored steam trains of the North Norfolk Railway.
We spent most of our time exploring the exhibits and gardens at the lovely Waybourne station, but when a train arrived to pick up and drop off passengers I took full advantage of the chance to get up close with some of the beautiful and evocative engineering details on view.
A real reminder of my childhood trips with my father to watch the trains back ion the 1960's.
