Mean, moody and magnificent.
The craggy summit of Tryfan, in the Glyderau range of mountains in Snowdonia National Park, is silhouetted against sunlit mist which billows through the peaks in this most beautiful and dramatic parts of North Wales.
My wife Liz and I come here often to walk the path from the visitor centre up to Llyn Idwal, with Tryfan forming a formidable backdrop to the view down the Ogwen valley.
There's nowhere else I'd rather be on a day like this.
