One thing I really like about hiking in Snowdonia, North Wales, is the way the weather can change really rapidly.
Sometimes that can work against you, but in general the ever changing cloud patterns provide us photographers with endless opportunities to make dramatic images.
This particular cloud formed briefly over the summit of Snowdon at sunset. It only lasted a few seconds but was perfectly placed to make a great focal point in this simple composition based in postive and negative space.
