Wandering round the Normandy town of Evreux on a grey, overcast day, Liz and I took a walk along the canalside and we were pleasantly suprised to see a large number of artistic mosaics built into the walls next to the towpath.
Mostly these mosaics were abstract arrangements of coloured tiles, but this one caught my eye as being somewhat different to the rest, and kind of quirky.
The flay grey light was perfect for photographing the tile, allowing the colours and detail to been seen clearly, without reflections or hotspots.
