I love going out at night with my camera (plus tripod of course!). You see things in, literally, an entirely different light once the sun has gone down.
This particular view was taken while standing on the road that leads from Mold to Ruthin, in the Clywdian range of mountains in North Wales, on a cold winter's night under a full moon.
The town of Ruthin lies nestled in the Vale of Clwyd below, with its lights giving a welcoming glow in the surrounding darkness while the frosted road on which I'm standing snakes down the eastern flank of Moel Famau.
I pack up and head home as my fingers and toes start to freeze up, looking forward to that cup of coffee at the end of a fantastic evening enjoying the night time views.
