The story behind this image

Variations on a theme. This is the facia of the new government building in Cardiff, South Wales.

The architect, Richard Rogers, has done a fantastic job and the front of this building makes a great subject for a photograph.

Because the architecture is so artisically biased, I've seen no reason to restrain myself artistically either. Hence the four 'variations on a theme', each one a version of the same basic image processed differently in Photoshop to bring out a different mood.
