Malaga, Spain, was originally founded by the Phoenicians in the sixth century BC, so it's a city with a rich and varied history.
None of which interested me at all as Liz and I walked from the cruise liner terminal where we were docked for the day into town along this fantastic futuristic walkway.
This combination of white slatted roof, deep blue sky and vibrant green glass building, with the blend of colours and shapes, was fantastic to look at, but quite tricky to photograph as I wanted to exclude as much extraneous detail as possible to focus attention on the basic shapes and colours.
In the end I left a palm tree in the composition to provide an organic contrast to the otherwise totally man-made landscape.
